Introduction

Syllo Solutions is a company specializing in the growth and development of AI systems that can automate medical coding using an advanced network of NLPs (Natural Language Processor) and AI agents. These systems ultimately work together to harness the power of AI in an incredibly accurate and evidence based state. This state can allow the AI to only focus on specific tasks, reducing the possibility for AI hallucinations that can negatively impact results. By using this unique system, the Syllo Solutions AI platform can automate medical coding at a high level.

Other AI Systems

While AI can sometimes seem to inherently posses abilities to interpret it's environment, often times AI tools such as ChatGPT can fall short at specific tasks. This results in hallucinations, where the AI believes it has correctly interpreted it's environment, however misinterpretations limit the effectiveness of the model and result in the AI falsely believing a reality that it created. This can be increadibly dangerous when coding, and can result in inacurate codes. AI tools can also lack the ability to add up to date information. For example, ChatGPT can not process information beyond 2021. This is important when large amounts of newer data are required for accurate coding. All of these factors limit stand alone AI models to novelty projects when looking at specialized tasks.

What Do We Do Differently

Our unique system creates a specified environment that specific AI systems can operate in to generate better results. Instead of allowing a system like ChatGPT to walk through each of the steps, our systems use specific and calculated in-house AI models and systems to check each other at every step of the process. Easily integrate our system into any current EHR or provider for instant results. Using our AI systems, we're able to generate a 96.5% accuracy rate with less than 5 minutes taken per code. When we use multithreading, which is the process of enabling more than one user at a time to run programs without requiring multiple copies of the program running on the computer, the code production can remain at a constantly high level.

Using this system our AI model was able to achieve a 96.5% accuracy over 200 example notes for non-real patients, even with 20 of those medical notes lacking significant information to code. This checks the system's ability to request more information from doctors to reduce the number of billing errors within the system.
